Meet Kristie
From the Mountains, to the Plains, to the Valley
Hailing from the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York, Kristie Gotwald moved to Ohio in 2007 to study at Cedarville University, where she completed her four-year degree in just two and a half years. Following graduation, she and her husband moved across the country to follow his military career as she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2012.
Since she began practicing, she has been named to the National Trial Lawyer's Top 40 under 40 list for Ohio's criminal defense attorneys, nominated multiple years as Dayton's Best Attorney, and served positions of leadership with both the Dayton and Greene County Bar Associations.
She understands the stresses and emotions involved in the cases she faces, helping her clients navigate through some of the most difficult times of their lives.
Notable Achievements
Kristie has been on multiple murder cases and successfully had a client's conviction overturned after they'd spent 17 years in prison for a crime they didn't commit.
